Sergi Canós

Sergi Canós (born 2 February 1997) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right winger for Norwich City.

Youth Career

Began his career in the youth system at hometown club Nules.

Moved to Barcelona’s La Masia academy in 2010.

Signed for Liverpool at the age of 16 in 2013. It was reported that Barcelona made an official complaint to the Spanish FA over the move.

Made his under-18s debut on 9 November 2013, in a 3-1 victory over Stoke.

Making his debut for the under-21s in August 2014.

Brentford (loan)

In August 2015 he joined Championship side Brentford on a loan which was later extended until the end of the 2015–16 season.

Played his first game in September as a sub against Leeds.

Scored the first senior goal against Nottingham Forest in November.

Won Brentford’s Goal of the Season with his goal versus Reading on 28 December.


Trained with first team following his return fron Brentford.

Norwich City

Moved to Norwich in July 2017 for an undisclosed fee, believed to be about £2.5m, rising to £4.5m through add ons.
