Ryan Ledson

Ryan Ledson (born 19 August 1997) is an English footballer who plays for Oxford United as a midfielder.

Youth Career

Joined Everton’s academy at the age of five.

Become a key player for the Under-21 side at the age of 16.

Signed his first professional deal with the club, for three years on his 17th birthday.


Was named on the bench for the Premier League fixture at Southampton in April 2014.

Made his debut for Everton, starting in a Europa League game against FC Krasnodar at Goodison Park in December 2014.

Cambridge United (loan)

Moved to Cambridge United on loan, initially until January 2016 and extended that loan until April 2016 in November 2015.

Made his league debut in November 2015 on a 2–3 loss to Accrington Stanley.

Oxford United

Signed a three-year contract with Oxford United for an undisclosed fee in August 2016.

Nominated for the 2017 EFL Young Player of the Season.


Captain of the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship winning team.

Named in 2014 UEFA European U-17 Championship Team of the Tournament.
