Inaki Pena

Inaki Pena (born 2 March 1999) is an Spanish footballer who plays as a keeper for Barcelona.

Youth Career

Began playing for his local club Alicante CF as a 5-year-old.

His performances did not go unnoticed and he joined Villarreal in 2009, they captured a 10-year-old Peña for their youth system.

He joined Barcelona in 2015, and began his trajectory with the Infantil A team, coached by Denis Silva, and won the Liga in his first season, with a nine-point gap over arch-rivals Espanyol.

Won the 2013 HTU Hallen Indoor Tournament and Torneo Internacional Reino de León.

Save an astonishing six penalty kicks and scored the winner in a shoot out against Atletico Madrid in the latter.

Turned down a new contract with Barcelona and was linked with a move to Manchester United.

Stayed with Barcelona after he was promoted to their B team for the new season.


Has represented Spain at Under-17’s level.
