Eyad Hammoud (born 24 July 2001) is a Bulgarian footballer who currently plays as an attacking midfielder for Sheffield Wednesday.
Started his career with Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
Had a trial with Arsenal in April 2015 and then with Stoke City the following July.
Won best player Under-15 of the year 2015
Made his professional debut for Lokomotiv Plovdiv in November 2016, Hammound assisted the first goal in a 2-1 win.
Aged 15 years, 3 months and 26 days he became the second youngest player to play in Bulgarian First League.
Won Bulgarian football most promising player of the year 2016.
Scouted by Sheffield Wednesday in March 2017.
Signed a two-year contract June 2017, joining the Under-18’s team until gaining work permit.
Born in Lebanon and moved to Bulgaria aged 8, Hammoud could play for both at international level.
