Leicester City have signed forward George Thomas from Coventry City on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Watford have confirmed the signing of Brazil Under-20 international Richarlison after he was granted a work permit. The 20-year-old forward has joined on a five-year contract from Fluminense for about £11 million.

Bristol City have signed Sweden Under-21 winger Niclas Eliasson from IFK Norrkoping for £1.8m. The 21-year-old has agreed a three-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months.

Malaga forward Kuki has joined FC Cartagena on a season-long loan.

18-year-old North Korean Kwang-Song Han has joined Perugia on a season-long loan from Cagliari.

Liverpool are set to turn down a request from Hannover to take 17-year-old forward Ben Woodburn on loan.

Birmingham have rejected a £3 million bid from Derby for forward Che Adams with Blues boss Harry Redknapp wanting to keep the 21-year-old.

First Team Debuts

There were a number of debuts in yesterdays first round of the Carabao Cup. Here are some of the most interesting ones:

Reading have given debuts to Omar Richards, Sam Smith and Axel Andresson.

Wesley Harding made his professional debut for Birmingham City.

Steven Sessegnon & Matt O’Riley both made their Fulham debuts.

Stephy Mavididi made his Preston debut, he is on loan from Arsenal.

Rodney Kongolo (Man City) , Ben Whiteman (Bournemouth) scored their first goals for Doncaster Rovers.

Jason Cummings had a goalscoring debut for Nottingham Forest.
