Where next for Kylian Mbappé?
AS Monaco’s Kylian Mbappé? has been called up to the France senior squad after starring for the Ligue 1 leaders.
Mbappé has scored 17 goals so far this season, including two against Manchester City in the Champions League.
Monaco have scored an incredible 84 goals in 29 league games this in Ligue 1 so far, and are three points clear of Paris St-Germain at the top of the table.

His incredible season so far has led to interest from Europe’s elite clubs. Here are four teams that could sign him this summer:
Superstars Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Özil have been evidently disgruntled at Arsenal’s poor league form. After losing 10-2 on aggregate to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, manager Arsene Wenger had to deny a training ground bust-up with his star men.
Sanchez has scored 21 goals this season; no other Arsenal player has reached double figures in the league so far this campaign.
Wenger has been reluctant to use Olivier Giroud for much of this season and instead used Sanchez as a lone striker. Mbappé would be able to play in the typical ‘number 9’ role in Wenger’s chosen 4-2-3-1 system and allow Sanchez to move back out wide, should he stay at The Emirates.
Dortmund currently sit in third place in the Bundesliga, 16 points behind leaders Bayern Munich. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 30 goals in 33 games in all competitions; Ousmane Dembele is second top scorer with eight.
Marco Reus’ stop-start campaign hasn’t helped Thomas Tuchel’s side. Mbappé would provide a new attacking dimension, or become Aubameyang’s replacement should he leave at the end of the season.
The Rossoneri have suffered a dramatic fall from grace in recent years and are currently in seventh place in Serie A, four points behind Inter in the last Europa League spot.
Milan have scored 24 goals less than the league’s top scorers, Napoli. Gianluca Lapadula was the only striker manager Vincenzo Montella signed last summer; he has scored only five league goals.
If Milan are to return to the top of European football any time soon, a large player overhaul is required before next season. Mbappé would be the ideal striker to begin Milan’s rise back towards Champions League football.
It looks almost inevitable that star man Antoine Griezmann will leave the Vicente Calderón at the end of this season.
Goals have not been a problem for Diego Simeone’s side this season. Griezmann, Kevin Gamiero and Yannick Carrasco have all hit double figures.
However, should Griezmann move on, he will need to be replaced wisely if Atlético are to remain as one of Barcelona and Real Madrid’s challengers in La Liga. Mbappé’s athleticism may help him succeed in Simeone’s rigid system that relies on fast counter attacks and pressing in the attacking third.
