Nathan (born 13 March 1996) is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Chelsea as an attacking midfielder, he can also play as a left winger or as a second striker.
Started his career at Atlético Paranaense when he was 13 years old in 2009.
Promoted to the first team squad in 2014.
Made his debut in January in the Copa Libertadores game against Sporting Cristal.
Made his Série A debut in May as a substitute against Corinthians.
Rejecting a contract renewal with the club in October 2014.
Agreed to join Chelsea in May 2015 for an undisclosed fee rumoured to be in the region of £4.5 million. Joining them in July.
Vitesse Arnhem (loan)
Joined Vitesse Arnhem on loan nine days after joining Chelsea with Nathan Barker and Izzy Brown.
Made his debut in August 2015 in a UEFA Europa League against Southampton.
Made his Eredivisie debut three days later against Willem II, scored his first goal Roda JC.
Extended his loan deal for the following season in June 2016.
Won the 2016–17 KNVB Cup, starting on the left wing against AZ Alkmaar.
Joined French side Amiens on a season-long loan with option to buy in August 2017.
Made his debut against Marseille as a substitute.
Returned to Chelsea half way through his season loan loan due to a lack of playing time.
Joined Belenenses on loan in January 2018 after his loan deal with Amiens was terminated early.
Scored on his debut the following week against Sporting Lisbon.
Has represented Brazil at Under-17 and Under-20 levels.
Made his Under-17 debut in the 2013 FIFA Under-17 World Cup, scoring five goals and being voted as the second best player of the tournament, winning the Silver Ball.
Also included in the squad for the 2015 South American Youth Championship held in Uruguay, appeared in all matches during the competition, scoring his first goal against Peru.
