Manu Garcia (born 2 January 1998) is a Spanish footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Manchester City.
Started his career with Oviado based youth team Astur CF.
Moved to Sporting Gijón in 2010 aged 12.
Joined Manchester City in May 2014 for €250,000.
Promoted to Manchester City Under-21 team in May 2015.
Made his professional debut in September 2015, as a substitute for Sergio Agüero in a 4–1 Football League Cup win over Sunderland.
Scored his first goal against Crystal Palace in the same competition.
Player his first Premier League match against Aston Villa in March 2016.
Signed a four year contract extension in December 2016.
Joined Deportivo Alavés on a 1 year loan deal in August 2016.
Made his debut in December, as a substitute in a 3–0 win over Gimnàstic de Tarragona in the Copa del Rey.
This was the game of his loan spell and he returned to Manchester City.
NAC Breda (loan)
Joined Dutch side NAC Breda on a six month loan deal in January 2017.
Made his debut in a 2–0 win over Jong FC Utrecht a week later.
Scored his first goal for NAC in February 2017 in a 1–0 win over Dordrecht.
Won best youth talent for the final quarter of the Dutch season in 2017.
Loaned back to NAC Breda for the 2017–18 season in June 2017.
Has represented Spain at Under-16 to Under-19 level.
