Jay Dasilva (born 22 April 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left back for Chelsea.
An attacking left back who can also play as a winger.
Started his career with Luton Town, joining aged seven.
Joined Chelsea from Luton Town in 2012 with younger twin brothers Cole and Rio in deal that could raise to £1m should they play for Chelsea first team.
Made his Chelsea Under-18 debut against Reading in April 2013, aged 14.
Captained Chelsea Under-16’s to win the Premier League International Tournament in October 2013.
Won 2014 FA Youth Cup, scoring in the first leg of the Final against Fulham.
Won the 2015 FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League.
Signed his first professional contract in July 2015.
Won the 2016 FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League.
Charlton Athletic (loan)
Joined Charlton on loan in January 2016 until the end of the 2016-17 season.
Made his debut in January 2017, coming on as a substitute in the 28th minute, but was later substituted in the 80th minute of the game.
Signed a new contract in July 2017 and rejoined Charlton for the 2017-18 season.
Could play international football for England, Wales or Brazil.
Won the 2017 Under-19’s European Championship as captain.
Brother of Cole Dasilva, Rio Dasilva, Ryan Dasilva.
His three FA Youth Cup wins mean that him and Jake Clarke-Salter joined five Manchester United ‘Busby Babes’ in a select group of seven players to ever achieve such a feat.
