Ethan Ampadu (born 14 September 2000) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Chelsea.
Started his career Exeter City.
Become Exeter City’s youngest ever player aged 15 in August 2015 when he started against Brentford.
Made his full league debut in a 1-0 home defeat against Crawley in August 2016.
Agree to move to Chelsea in June 2017, the final fee to be set by tribunal.
Signed his first professional contract in September 2017.
Made his first team debut on the same day against Nottingham Forest in the carabao Cup. Making him the youngest player to make an appearance for Chelsea since Michael Woods in Jan 2007 at 17 years and 6 days old.
Made his Premier League debut in December 2017 against Huddersfield Town.
Eligible to represent England, Ireland and Ghana at international level.
