Edward Nketiah (born 30 May 1999) is a English footballer who plays as a forward for Arsenal.
Edward began his football career playing for Chelsea Academy and signed for Aresnal when he was playing for Chelsea’s Under-16 team, often as a midfielder.
Started his Arsenal scholarship in the 2015-16 campaign he made his youth team debut during the 2014-15 campaign while still an Under-16.
Signed a three-year contract with Arsenal in September 2016.
Made his first team debut in the Europa League against BATE Borisov as a substitute for Joe Willock in September 2017.
Scored two goals after coming on as a second half sub against Norwich City the following month.
Extended his contract in December 2017.
Eligible to play for England and Ghana at international level.
Scored on his debut for England Under-18’s against Saudi Arabia in March 2017 then got a hat-trick in his second game against Qatar.
Scored an other hat-trick on England Under-19’s debut against Poland in September 2017.
