David Brooks (born 8 July 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Sheffield United.
Started his career with the Manchester City academy from the age of seven.
Was released from Man City in 2014 and joined Sheffield United.
Signed his first professional contract with the club in March 2015.
Halifax Town (loan)
Joined National League team Halifax Town on a one-month loan in August 2016.
Extended his loan into a second month and scored one goal in his five appearances.
Made his first team debut in August 2016, coming on as a substitute in a 0–0 draw with Leicester City Under-23’s in an EFL Trophy.
He made his first start for the club in the next fixture in October 2016.
Signed a new four-year contract in October 2017 following some impressive performances.
Scored his first goal for Sheffield United in a October 2017, a match-winner against rivals Leeds United.
Called up to the Wales Under-20 squad for the 2017 Toulon Tournament.
Withdrew from the Wales team and joined up with the England Under-20 squad for the same tournament.
Won the 2017 Toulon Tournament with England and was named the Best Player, having scored in the Final.
Called up to the senior Wales team in October 2017, making his full Wales debut the following month against France.
