Daniel Adshead (born 2 September 2001) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for Rochdale.
Started his career at Rochdale.
Reported that Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Barcelona and Bayern Munich’s had sent scouts to watch him when he was just 14-years-old.
Trained with the Rochdale first team in his half-term school holiday’s in 2016.
Made his Under-18’s debut aged 15 in 2016.
Rochdale had a request for him to play in the first team turned down from the EFL in October 2016, he missed the age cut off by one day.
Made his first team debut in September 2017 against rivals Bury in the Daniel Adshead starts in tonight’s Checkatrade Trophy, becoming Dale’s youngest ever debutant.
