Dael Fry

Dael Fry (born 30 August 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Middlesbrough.

Youth Career

Started his career with Middlesbrough at 7-years-old.

Signed his first professional contract with the club in October 2014.


Made his first-team debut in August 2015 at 17-years-old in the first game of the 2015–16 season against Preston North End, being named Man of the Match.

Signed a new five-year contract in September 2015.

Joined Rotherham on loan in August 2016, playing ten games.


Won the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.

Called up to the England Under-20 squad for the 2017 Under-20 World Cup.

Won the 2017 Under-20 World Cup.
