Borja Mayoral

Borja Mayoral (born 5 April 1997) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a forward for Real Madrid.

Youth Career

Started his career with hometown club AD Parla in 2004.

Joined Real Madrid’s youth setup in 2007.

A star and top goalscorer at all levels of Real Madrid’s youth teams.

In January 2015, Mayoral made his senior debut for Real Madrid B team against Getafe B.

Real Madrid

Having scored 43 goals for different teams over the season, he was rewarded with a place on the first team bench for the  3–0 La Liga home win over Almería.

Made his first team debut as substitute against Las Palmas before returning to the B team to score his first senior hat-trick against Rayo Majadahonda.

Wolfsburg (loan)

Loaned to Bundesliga team Wolfsburg in July 2016.

Made his debut in the first round of the DFB-Pokal, against FSV Frankfurt. Scored his first goal in December in the home loss to Hertha BSC.

Finish his loan with six goals in 23 games and returned to Real Madrid.

International

Finished the 2015 European Under-19 Championship as top scorer with three goals, including one in the final against Russia. He was also named in the Team of the Tournament.
