Ben Woodburn (born 16 November 1999) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liverpool.
Joined Liverpool aged eight in 2007.
Fast-tracked from the under-16s squad to the under-18s when he was 15 years-old.
Signed a long term deal in November 2016.
In his first two games for Liverpool against Wigan and Fleetwood (pre-season friendlies), he scored a goal in each match with Liverpool beating Fleetwood 5-0 and Wigan 2-0.
Become the third youngest player to represent Liverpool when he made his debut against Sunderland in November 2016.
Came on as sub and scored against Leeds United in 2016, Becomes Liverpool’s youngest ever scorer infront of the Kop.
Nominated for the 2017 European Golden Boy award and for the Premier League 2 Player of the Season.
Named Liverpool 2016-17 Academy Player of the Season.
Won the 2017 Carwyn James Welsh Young Sportsman of the Year award.
Eligible to represent Wales or England. Offered an under-16 call-up by England in August 2014 but chose to remain in the Wales.
Called up to train at a regional development centre at Dragon Park when he was just 13 years old.
Scored a hat-trick for the Under-16 against Northern Ireland.
Captained the Wales Under-17 team against Greece in 2016.
Called up to the full Wales squad in March 2017.
Made his Wales debut in September 2017, scoring the winning goal against Austria.
