Andreas Christensen (born 10 April 1996) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Chelsea.
Started his career with Brondby in 2004.
Agreed a move to Chelsea in 2012 for a six figure fee in February 2012, turning down a number of top Europan clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich.
Won the 2013-14 FA Youth Cup.
Won th 2013-14 Under-21 Premier League.
Won the 2014-15 UEFA Youth League, although he scored a first half own goal.
Named on the first team bench on the final day of the season at home to Everton in May 2013.
Made his first team debut in October 2014 against Shrewsbury Town in the League Cup.
Signed a new 4 year contract in July 2015.

Joined Borussia Monchengladbach on a 2 year loan deal in July 2015.
Made his debut for Gladbach against FC St. Pauli in August 2015.
Named Borussia Monchengladbach’s 2016 player of the season.
Voted Danish Talent of the Year in 2015
Reported Chelsea rejected the £14.25m bid from Gladbach.
Return to Chelsea
Returned to Chelsea for the 2017-18 as part of the Chelsea first team squad.
Came off the bench following captain Gary Cahill being sent off, in Chelsea’s opening day home defeat against Burnley.
In August 2017, he made his first Premier League start in a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur and was the only Premier League player to play 90 minutes and complete 100% of his passes that weekend.
Signed a new four-and-a-half year contract in January 2018.
Made his senior debut for Denmark in June 2015 against Montenegro.
