Alen Halilovic (born 18 June 1996) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for German club Hamburg.
Started his career with Dinamo Zagreb.
Made his first team debut against Hajduk Split in September 2012, making him the youngest debutant in the history of the club, at the age of 16 years and 101 days.
Scored his first goal against Slaven Belupo, becoming the youngest goalscorer in the history of the league, at the age of 16 years and 112 days – breaking the record set in November 2010 by Mateo Kovačić.
Became the club’s youngest Champions League and the second youngest player in the history of the UEFA Champions League when he came on against Paris Saint-Germain in October 2012.
Joined Barcelona in July 2014, signing a five-year contract for an initial amount of €2.2 million.
Scored four goals in 30 games for Barcelona B in 2014-15.
Made his first appearance for Barcelona in January 2015 against Elche in the Copa del Rey.
Sporting Gijón (loan)
Loaned to Sporting de Gijón for the 2015-16 season in August 2015.
Made his La Liga debut against Real Sociedad, soring hi first goal in October against Espanyol.
Finished his loan with five goals in 34 games.
Moved to Bundesliga side Hamburg for €5.5 million, with a buy-back clause for Barcelona worth €10 million.
Scored his first goal for Hamburg on his debut against FSV Zwickau in August 2016.
Las Palmas (loan)
Joined Las Palmas for 18 months in a loan deal. With an option for Las Palmas to buy him at the end of the deal.
