Adama Traore (born 25 January 1996) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right winger for Middlesbrough.
Started his career at Barcelona in 2004 at 8-years old.
Won the 2014 UEFA Youth League with Barcelona Under-19’s and was named in the Segunda División team of the year.
Promoted to Barcelona B team in 2013.
Made his professional debut in October against SD Ponferradina for in the Segunda División.
Made his first team debut in November 2013 against Granada in La Liga at 17-years old.
Came on for Cesc Fàbregas to make his Champions League a few days later against Ajax.
Scored his first and only goal for Barcelona in December 2014,against SD Huesca in the Copa del Rey.
Joined Aston Villa in August 2015, signing a five-year deal for a reported £7 million. It was believed that Barcelona inserted on a three-year buy-back clause in his contract.
Made his debut eight days later against Crystal Palace, scoring his first goal three days later against Notts County in the League Cup second round.
Reported his was dropped from the first team due to in discipline and Villa were relegated to the Championship.
Joined Middlesbrough in August 2016, signing a four-year deal.
Made his debut in September 2016 against Crystal Palace.
Represented Spain at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 level.
