Liverpool Could Move for Bayer Leverkusen Midfielder Kai Havertz

Liverpool are believed to have sent scouts to watch Bayer Leverkusen wonderkid Kai Havertz in action for Germany Under-19’s.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal had representatives at the game in Belarus on Wednesday.

They would not be disappointed as Havertz scored four goals and assisted the other in a 5-1 win for the Germans.

Havertz broke into the Leverkusen’s first-team last season, becoming the club’s youngest Bundesliga player at the age of 17 years and 126 days and his style of play has been likened to another Leverkusen midfielder Michael Ballack.

He went on to make 24 appearances in the league, scoring four goals and six assists, famously missing the second leg of the last 16 game with Atletico Madrid because it clashed with his school exams.

Football has been my ultimate passion since day one. Football really started becoming a huge part of my life when I was 14, but with the Internet not being as prominent at the time, I had a hard time finding pertinent information. And this is exactly how Football-Wonderkids came about. As the website’s Founder, I’m on a mission to curate information on current youth players across the globe and make it readily available all in one place.
