Kacper Kowalczyk To Play in EFL Exit Trials

Former Chelsea and QPR youth keeper Kacper Kowalczyk is set to play in EFL exit trials in Guilford and York.

Kacper was born in Poland and arrived to England with his parents being 4 years old. He started to play football when he was 6 year old and his first team was Eastleigh FC U7. He stayed with this club until the age of 10 and he moved to Pace Youth FC as he was too young to start with his old club playing U11 League competition, being 10 year old.

During years with Eastleigh he represented the club in Eastleigh & District Mini Soccer League for 3 seasons where two seasons were competitive and Eastleigh placed 1st in both of them. He also played for Eastleigh FC Center Of Development Academy. In October 2011 he was scouted by Southampton FC and he spent one month in their Center of Development.

In January 2012 he was invited to the Development Center of Chelsea FC academy. After couple of weeks he was invited for an official trial at the club which was finished in May 2012, but because of personal issue parents decided to leave the academy. During his trial at Chelsea he played regularly against teams such as West Ham FC , Arsenal FC , Tottenham FC , Charlton AFC , Luton Town FC , Southampton FC , Portsmouth FC , Reading FC , and Fulham FC.

Kacper joined Hedge End Rangers U12’s ( being U11 ) for new season 2012/13 where he was the first choice goalkeeper for an entire season and playing an important role in their promotion to Divison 1 of Southampton Tyro League being unbeaten in the league. In November 2012 he was re invited to the Chelsea FC Academy Goalkeeping Development Center staying until summer 2013. He took part in preseason preparation for Chelsea FC U12’s to be invited for an official trial in September 2013. During his time at the trial, Kacper was evaluated very positively as a very good goalkeeper and even bigger development prospect, however Chelsea FC being also strong with Kacper’s age group goalkeepers was not in position to offer him a contract.

At the beginning of 2014 Kacper decided to leave Chelsea FC Academy to find more development opportunities. Kacper was playing for South Wiltshire Soccer School in Junior Premier League in 2014, where he was also chosen for U14 representative team for JPL where he was spotted by Queens Park Rangers.

From February 2015 Kacper played for Queens Park Rangers Academy for their U14’s, U15’s and U16’s team. He has gained a great amount of experience in playing against top level English academies; in addition with high level goalkeeping trainings, Kacper has developed greatly over the past years in all aspects of goalkeeping. Kacper has also been spotted by Polish National Football Federation, being under observations by their scouts based in England and being invited to National U15 Training Camp in Gutów Mały in May 2015. Kacper is also eligible to represent England as he was awarded English Citizenship in 2018.

Kacper is very well trained and also well experienced in competitive games, he represents a huge potential. He is quick learner always with 100% commitment, all of this make him a great football prospect.
