Gregor Zabret Signs New Swansea Contract

Swansea City goalkeeper Gregor Zabret has signed a new contract, keeping him with the club till 2020.

The 22-year-old joined Swansea in July 2013 from Slovenia Prva Liga side NK Domzale and was very happy to extend his stay, saying:

“I am very happy to sign another contract here,” Zabret told the Swans website. “I have been here since I was 17 and the club is like a family to me.

“There have been ups and downs since I arrived in 2013 but overall I am pleased how I have developed as a player and I feel I am going in the right direction.

“I have a lot of good memories here and hopefully I can get many more.

“The next step for me is to continue to get game-time and progress to first-team football, whether that be here on out on loan.”

About the author: Football Wonderkids

Football has been my ultimate passion since day one. Football really started becoming a huge part of my life when I was 14, but with the Internet not being as prominent at the time, I had a hard time finding pertinent information. And this is exactly how Football-Wonderkids came about. As the website’s Founder, I’m on a mission to curate information on current youth players across the globe and make it readily available all in one place.
