Youth CareerStarted his career with Incheon United in South Korea. Finished as the top scorer in the 2010 Danone Nations Cup. Joined Barcelona in 2011 after being watched a number of times and earned him the reputation as one of La Masia's top talents. Scored 38 goals and 18 assists in just 29 games for the Barcelona Under-15's, breaking a record set by Messi. Banned from playing in any official matches until he turned 18 in January 2016 following Barcelona's ban for breaking FIFA Youth Eligibility Rules .
Barcelona BRumoured that he would leave in loan in January 2016 as Barcelona were not happy with his development. Made his debut against Lleida Esportiu in March 2016, meaning his buyout clause jumped from €3 million to €12 million. Reported that Man City and Dortmund had sent scouts to watch him at the Under-20 World Cup.
Hellas VeronaJoined Verona in August 2017 on a free transfer with addons of up to £1.5 million and a two-year buy back option for Barcelona. Made a Serie A debut for Verona in September 2017 against Lazio.
