Maximiliano Romero

Maximiliano Romero (born 9 January 1999) is an Argentinian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Velez Sarsfield.

Youth Career

Began playing for Velez Sarsfield aged 6 years. Another player dubbed the new “Messi” with his superb dribbling and finishing ability. Rumoured that Arsenal has agreed a free for £4.5million for the young forward. Suffering a knee cruciate ligament injury he stayed in Vélez.

Vélez Sarsfield

Made his debut for Vélez at age 17 in a 0–1 defeat to Sarmiento in 2016. Scored his first professional goal against Olimpo in October 2016.
