Chelsea’s Alex Kiwomya Joins Doncaster

Doncaster Rovers have signed former England Under-19 and Chelsea forward Alex Kiwomya on a free transfer.

Kiwomya, 21, has signed a three-year contract with Doncaster, leaving Chelsea after seven years.

During his time with Chelsea youth team’s he manager an impressive 119 games, winning two FA Youth Cups, Under-21’s Premier League and UEFA Youth League.

Former England under-19 international, who spent loan spells earlier in this career at Barnsley, Fleetwood and Crewe.

Kiwomya told Doncaster’s official website. “I think it was the right time to make a permanent move and show people what I can do.”

Kiwomya is the Nephew of former Ipswich and Arsenal forward Chris Kiwomya, while his dad Andy played for a number of football league clubs in the 80’s.
