Barcelona are ready to beat rivals Manchester United and Real Madrid to the signing of Valencia forward Ferran Torres.
The wonderkid is attracted from some of the top sides in Europe, with the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester United watching him in action.
Valencia owner Peter Lim has refused to consider selling Torres, well aware of the talent they have on their hands.
Reports suggest that Barcelona are prepared to meet the youngster’s buyout clause of €8 million to win the race for his signature.
Torres is yet to make a first team appearance for Valencia, but Don Balon says Barca management believe it will be worth paying the price for a player of Torres’ potential.
You can watch the 17-year-old in action for Spain this month at the Under-17’s World Cup in India.
