12-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko Make Germany U16 Debut

Borussia Dortmund’s 12-year-old wonderkid Youssoufa Moukoko made his Germany Under-16’s debut last night.

Following his 14 goals in his first five games for Dortmund Under-17’s, Youssoufa Moukoko has now moved on to the international stage after being named in Michael Feichtenbeiner‘s Germany Under-16 side.

The youngest player by two years in a squad made up of 15-year-olds and two 14-year-old, the young forward made his debut against Austria.

Coming on in th 78 minute as a substitute for Ware Pakia the youngster didn’t get much time to show what he can do but considering his age it is a fantastic achievement.

Moukoko who joined Dortmund from FC St. Pauli’s youth team last season hit the headlines after he scored four goals in one match and has continued to score in every Under-17 Bundesliga match.

Football-Wonderkids hopes we are looking at the next start of the German national side and not ther German Cherno Samba.

Football has been my ultimate passion since day one. Football really started becoming a huge part of my life when I was 14, but with the Internet not being as prominent at the time, I had a hard time finding pertinent information. And this is exactly how Football-Wonderkids came about. As the website’s Founder, I’m on a mission to curate information on current youth players across the globe and make it readily available all in one place.
